A face emerged, and I couldn’t resist giving it a neon mohawk and more. I used acrylic paint, water-based marker pens, and a real safety pin to fill in fine details, finished in Feb. 2024.

This original mixed media collage, pop art piece is a one-of-a-kind collectible for bright, joyful art lovers and word game lovers alike! “Words with Friends” is the first collage piece I’ve released where I let myself explore images and concepts within rather than looking at a reference photo. I started with a base layer of acrylic paint followed by modge podging random shapes of cross word puzzle and gold stationery paper onto the canvas. I then layered aclyic paint, gelatos, and shaprie on the portrait and used chalk makers to create the letters and shapes in the background. This piece was finished in January 2023, although released for the first time in April 2024.

This original floral pop art piece is a one-of-a-kind collectible to bring bright, bold, joy into your life. “Blossom” was so fun to create. I first laid down a layer of acryic paint followed by another layer that I textured with a wet brush. Then I used a palette knife (an impasto technique) to lay down petals of acrylic and impasto medium. I then glued a button flower into the middle of the blossom made with wine cork, an iridescent pebble, white plastic buttons, and hot glue. This piece is highly textured and 3-D. I started this piece in January 2023, let it sit, and then finished it in January 2024. Giving a piece space of a hibernation period is common in my process. I released this piece for the first time in April 2024.

This original acrylic, abstract piece is a one-of-a-kind collectible for deep sea and outer space lovers alike. Or, what do you see in it? Maybe there’s more. “Deep Dive” was so fun to create. I used an intuitive palette knife, impasto technique to lay down rich colors and then add marks and shape outlines in white as imagery emerged. The main figure reminds me of a deep sea diver in an antique diving suit or possibly some kind of astronaut in a suit exploring the new terrain. What a great metaphor for life. I finished this piece in December 2022 and released it for the first time for purchase in April 2024.
